ZTE has announced a new series of backhaul solutions for LTE Small Cell technology that will enable network operators to meet rising subscriber demand for mobile broadband.
As the increasing use of smart terminals enrich the lives of consumers, network operators face rising challenges. To ensure high-quality user experience, operators need to construct networks that offer dense and miniaturized coverage. Small Cell technology will therefore play a more important role. The deployment of Small Cell networks also places more stringent demands on backhaul technology, with increased emphasis on high capacity, low-cost, security and speed of network construction.
ZTE’s new series of backhaul solutions for LTE Small Cells will help operators address these technical challenges, offering support for a wide range of data transmission methods, including packet bearer network backhaul solution, fixed broadband backhaul solution (through PON, xDSL and Cable), Microwave Wireless backhaul solution, WiFi Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) Wireless backhaul solution and TD-LTE backhaul solution. Operators will enjoy more flexibility and choice in customising their backhaul networks based on their own requirements.
