Samsung Electronics has released yet another model of its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom is positioned as a smartphone with the capabilities of a high-end compact camera.
Packed with 10x optical zoom, 16MP CMOS sensor, optical image stabiliser (OIS), and Xenon Flash, the Galaxy S4 zoom aims to enhance the mobile photography experience.

A new Zoom Ring makes it simple to access key features. For instance, when a user is in the middle of a phone call and see something he must share, a quick twist of the Zoom Ring will activate the In-Call Photo Share feature, letting you capture and send an image directly via MMS to whoever you are talking to.
The Zoom Ring can also be used to activate the Quick Launch and Shortcut features, giving instant access to multiple camera modes including Auto, Gallery and Smart Mode with a simple twist.
It revolutionises conventional camera zoom controls with smooth, easy-to-operate digital controls. Professional-quality accuracy and unprecedented ease of use are just a twist away, making it easy to compose a scene and capture wide-angle shots or tight close-ups.
The best-in-class 10x optical zoom and 16MP BSI CMOS sensor captures beautiful images from far away or up close and personal, in all light conditions, without needing heavy camera gear. The built-in OIS helps keep the camera still, reducing blur and stabilising the image while zoomed in for high-quality photos and video.
Photo Suggest instantly connects to huge libraries of images taken by fellow photographers so users can find and compose their best shots anywhere in the world. Photo Suggest even offers direction to the ideal nearby photo opportunity location.
The Galaxy S4 zoom features Smart Mode which comes with a series of pre-set modes, including Drama Shot for merging continuous shots of moving objects into a single composed image, and Action Freeze to instantly capture high-speed action. Smart Mode Suggest helps users assess the scene and provide a short list of the best options for consideration based on surrounding factors such as light levels, focal length, or face detection.
Beyond its camera features, the smartphone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and boasts many features of the recently launched Galaxy S4.
