The Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Surface Studio are two of the exciting announcements in recent weeks. While one thrilled gamers, the other is set to transform the desktop.
What both have in common are NVIDIA GPUs.
The Nintendo Switch is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra, a high-efficiency scalable processor based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards.
Both the new Surface Studio and and latest Surface Book also sport NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPUs. The Surface Studio is powered by either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M or a GeForce GTX 980M while the new high-end Surface Book is driven by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M GPU.
These are two massive wins for the visual computing giant, which is renowned for its GeForce series of graphics cards.
