Technology to shift occupational categories for 375m by 2030

The constant evolution of technology is reshaping jobs and by 2030, up to 375 million people or 14 percent of the global workforce will need to switch occupational categories.Speaking at the inaugural TechHR Singapore, Ester Martinez, CEO & Editor –in-Chief of People Matters noted that we are living in at a pivotal time of business and workforce transformation”.

“The question today for business leaders is not about the ‘why’ or the ‘what’ but really about the ‘how’. How do we shift from ‘what’s required’ to ‘what’s possible”? To discover what is possible,” she said.

Held at Marina Bay Sands on February 28, TechHR Singapore drew more than 1,200 participants and featured a line up of more than 70 speakers.
