Slack has strengthened its partnership with Salesforce with the release of a new Salesforce for Slack app that provides a significant update to Sales Cloud integration and integration with Service Cloud. With the new app, teams can stay up to date on their Salesforce records from within the workplace collaboration tool, allowing them to respond in a timely manner to new opportunities and collaborate seamlessly across the organisation.
Members can send their records from Salesforce directly to Slack and share with their colleagues. Slack conversations can also be added to Salesforce records so important messages regarding an account or a case can be viewed in Salesforce.
“This tighter integration between Salesforce and Slack is a key way for us to dramatically streamline how our joint customers work,” said Ryan Aytay, Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Quip Co-CEO at Salesforce.
According to Brad Armstrong, Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Slack, these new integrations reflect a deepening alignment between both companies and provide their joint customers a best-in-class experience across the Slack and Salesforce platforms.
