Sim Lim Square may be the go-to place for tech stuff in Singapore but the building has failed in its second attempt at an en bloc sale. According to The Straits Times, the tender closed on December 30 without receiving any bid.
Following the unsucessful outcome, 11 shops in Sim Lim Square were put up for sale at S$22 million in January 8.
The mall was built in 1985 and has made a name for itself as a tech haven that has attracted people from around the world. While known for its vast array of tech stuff, it has unfortunately also come under the spotlight for a few errant shops that have bad business practices.
