ZTE will launch the ZTE Axon 20 5G under-display camera smartphone in China on September 1, 2020.
This takes the smartphone maker a step closer to achieving a full display smartphone. Having an under-display camera is an evolution from notch display, water-drop notch display, pop-up selfie camera smartphone, and hole punch display.
By launching the world’s first 5G smartphone with under-display camera, ZTE hopes to promote the development of display technologies in the smartphone industry, thereby bringing a revolutionised experiences to all consumers.
