If you’re using a Pixel, OnePlus, Oppo, realme or Xiaomi smartphone, rejoice because you’ll be the first to enjoy Android 11.
Other smartphone users will have to wait a little longer. Google has promised that more partners and devices will be added over the coming months.
“The latest release is all about helping you get to what’s important on your phone with easier ways to help you manage your conversations, connected devices, privacy, and much more,” wrote Dave Burke, VP of Android Engineering at Google in a blogpost.
This latest version of Google’s mobile OS comes a year after the last major upgrade.
