G Suite has gotten a new name — Google Workplace, which includes Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Docs, Drive, Gmail, Meet, Sheets, and Slides.
The new package aims to give users a single, unified place for the tools they need for home, work or class. It is available to businesses now with consumer rollout expected in the coming months.
Google Workplace comes with features to create and collaborate on a document within a room and the ability to see people in a meeting while collaborating with Meet picture-in-picture.
Together with a new brand, Google Workspace will sport a new look with new four-colour icons for each tool in the coming weeks.
