CyberLink has linked up with Asus to develop a solution with integrated facial-recognition capabilities for use in areas such as security, access control, visitor management and contactless experiences for retail, public services, and hospitality.
The solution is built on CyberLink’s FaceMe AI facial recognition engine and Asus’ Tinker Board 2 single-board computer.
With comprehensive operating systems support and optimised for IoT hardware and AI inference engines, FaceMe provides IoT/AIoT developers and system integrators with accurate and flexible facial recognition capabilities to enable a wide range of solutions applicable across industries.
ASUS IoT Tinker Board 2 is an Arm-based single-board computer that supports the Android 10 operating system. Powered by a six-core Rockchip RK3399 system-on-a-chip with multi-core Mali-T860, it provides the performance and connectivity needed for deployment as digital signage, kiosks, point-of-sale and access-control systems for retail, public services, hospitality and healthcare.
