Toku raises US$5m to enhance digital transformation offerings

Singapore-based Toku has completed a US$5 million Series A funding round backed by DX Ventures and existing investors such as Tembusu Partners and Neptune Invest Asia.

The cloud communications provider will use the funding to enhance its product capabilities and coverage to further simplify digital transformation for businesses in the region.

Toku leverages local expertise and a comprehensive cloud technology stack to enable fuss-free communication from anywhere on any device, as well as seamless integrations with business applications including HubSpot, Microsoft Teams and Salesforce.

With the additional funding, it will forge new strategic partnerships, double its workforce, and further develop its hosted contact centre solution over the next 18 months.

“Customer and employee experience are two of the biggest value drivers for businesses today, so it’s impossible to overstate the importance of providing seamless interactions across locations, devices and platforms. With this funding, we can help businesses do just that by expanding our product capabilities and scaling to cover more of the region’s ever-changing communications landscape,” said Thomas Laboulle, Founder and CEO of Toku.
