Singapore will be hosting hacksingapore to get technical and non-technical talents to create solutions that solve some of the challenges that the country may face in the coming years.
To be held from January to April 2022, the ground-up initiaitve is driven by Tribe in partnership with Enterprise Singapore, Government Technology Agency, Infocomm Media Development Authority, and Temasek.
It will cover three areas — blockchain and trust, no-code/low-code for non-technical participants, and future of gaming to meet the increasing demand for new gaming platforms and deeper levels of interaction.
The organisers will provide participants with digital resources, support and mentorship, as well as hold networking sessions.
According to Yi Ming Ng, Co-founder of Tribe, growing digitisation in Asia points to more opportunities for home-grown talent, hence it is vital that we identify and support Singapore-based technical and non-technical talent across a range of technologies.
“hacksingapore will allow us to bring together tech and non-tech talent and, supported by an ecosystem of mentors and experts, allow them to showcase their abilities in blockchain, no-code and gaming,” he said.
Participation is free. Register here. Winners stand to receive from a prize pool of S$35,000 when results are revealed end-May 2022.
