Hitachi Vantara has introduced a slew of hybrid cloud products and services for data-driven organisations to automate and simplify their infrastructure and operations.
First off is the Virtual Storage Software Block (VSS Block) software-defined data platform that extends the company’s virtual storage platform to cloud native applications.
The VSP E1090 (top) next generation mid-range storage array comes with new virtual storage scale out capabilities.
Hitachi Ops Center Clear Sight is an AI-driven cloud management tool to support Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform with simplified cloud-based reporting and analytics.
Hitachi Cloud Connect is designed to deliver a near-cloud solution with deep integration into public cloud extending the data fabric to support cloud applications from leading public cloud providers.
Rounding up the new introductions is the Unified Compute Platform RS hyperconverged cloud in a box offering and cloud data protection appliance to ensure that data is secure across a hybrid cloud operating model.
“Currently, the largest challenge faced by our customers is to manage the large volumes of data daily and find ways to efficiently control private and hybrid cloud environments with agility and desired latency. The new digital infrastructure solutions will support our customers to consolidate their resources in a unified manner, scale out in the high-end as well as mid-range systems and support a non-disruptive data migration process,” said Joe Ong, Vice President and General Manager of Hitachi Vantara Asean.
