While in-flight entertainment on flights is good for passing time, one of the biggest bugbears is the headset.
Most airlines provide flimsy double-jack headsets, unless of course, it’s in the business class or higher. Using your own conventional headset, which has a single jack, means that you have to sacrifice sound quality. One jack means that sound only comes out from one side so you won’t enjoy stereo effect.
A simple one-jack to two-jack adapter solves this problem. With this adapter, you can use your own headphones and not have to fiddle with the supplied flimsy headsets or wait for the crew to pass them out.
And, you may even get the chance to complete watching your movie as you do not need to surrender the headset prior to landing.
