Singtel and Razer have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to connect their respective e-payment systems into an interoperable network to reach out to up to 50 million users in Southeast Asia.
Once the system is up in the second half of the year, users can use their e-wallet to pay at more than one million points across the region.
Singtel has an extensive regional network and its Dash e-wallet has more than 500,000 users while Razer will be launching its RazerPay e-wallet app later this year.
The MOU also covers gaming related digital media and telecoms services in the region.
