Australia, New Zealand and South Korea are the first in the region to enjoy YouTube’s new music streaming service available from yesterday.
The rest of the region will have to sit back and wait for access to Youtube Music and YouTube Music Premium (formerly known as Youtube Red).
According to a YouTube blog post, for a limited time, subscribers will get three months free of YouTube Music Premium. The price thereafter is US$9.99 per month or US$14.99 per month for a Family Plan).
YouTube Music Premium subscribers will get the benefits of ad-free music, background and downloads across all of YouTube. They also have access to YouTube Originals shows and movies. For a limited time, they get three months free of YouTube Premium. Regular rates of US$11.99 per month or US$17.99 per month for a family plan apply thereafter.
