StumbleUpon stumbles out

After 16 years, discovery engine StumbleUpon, which pushes web contents to users, has shut down.

According to an email on the closure, it served nearly 60 billion stumbles to more than 40 million Stumblers during the period of its existence.

The folks behind StumbleUpon is now driving Mix, which lets users build shareable collections of finds across the internet, such as articles, videos and podcasts.
