Since last Thursday, Garmin users have been unable to connect to their device’s servers. It seems like the the GPS and wearable device maker has a US$10 million problem on its hands.
A WastedLocker ransomware has attacked Garmin and is demanding a US$10 million payout to free the data.
The outage is affecting not just Garmin.com and Garmin Connect but also Garmin’s call centres, rendering it unable to receive emails, calls or online chats.
