Haven’t gotten enough of football simulation games? A new one called Football for Friendship World will be released globally on World Football Day on December 10, 2020. What makes this multi-player game different is that it focues on the values of friendship, peace and equality.
These are the values espoused by Gazprom International Children’s Social Programme Football for Friendship. The international team of programme global operator AGT Communications Group developed the game, which will be available for free for first-time users.
Newly-registered users from around the world stand to win 100 sets of football merchandise and football kits from the Football for Friendship programme and the Football Union of Russia.
Players from various parts of the world will be able to participate in games according to the rules of Football for Friendship for the first time.
They will be able to compete in real time with others from all around the world, create and manage teams, become fans and support their friends’ teams in the stands.
Football for Friendship eWorld Championship
Two weeks before the official launch of the game, the Football for Friendship eWorld Championship will be held on the platform. It aims to unite young athletes from 10 to 14 years old from more than 100 countries into 32 Teams of Friendship.
They will play a total of 55 matches with the final broadcasted live. To take part and enter the first-ever Football for Friendship eWorld Championship, apply at http://participants.footballforfriendship.com/. The winners of the championship will receive tickets to the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul.
