AsiaPay and Azupay have teamed up to facilitate digital payments aross Australia. They aim to provide for e-commerce customers a simple, secure, seamless and real-time checkout experience, and for merchants to receive payment instantly and fulfill orders with confidence.
The partners will support the e-commerce ecosystem in Australia through the provision of AsiaPay’s PayDollar payment gateway.
Azupay removes the need for AsiaPay’s merchants to use their own PayID or banking details to accept real-time payments. Instead, Azupay manages this process to ensure payments can scale and are easily reconciled, while funds are received immediately.
Consumers can use Azupay with just an Australian bank account – there’s no need to register, download any app or share personal or financial information.
Azupay provides for each transaction a unique, single use PayID and matching QR Code which carries all the information required to make the payment instantly.
