Just when it looks like the Trump adminstration was done with its actions against China, the US Department of Defense announced another list of Chinese companies alleged to have links with the Chinese military.
Tech giant Xiaomi, which was among the nine companies listed, has come out strongly to deny the allegation.
The impact could be damaging and see it going the way of Huawei, which has been blocked from purchasing key components and has had to switch new products from the Android operating system with no direct access to any Google related services.
Hopefully, for Xiaomi, the incoming Biden administration will review the list and provide needed relief.
