Wilstech partners Selangor government to digitalise 200 SMEs

Wilstech is collaborating with Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) to help 200 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia kickstart their digitalisation efforts.

The partnership will cover digitalisation of areas such as eCommerce, HR, accounting and CRM, as well as infrastructure and hardware services or software, and mobile app development.

“We truly understand the plight that SMEs have faced over the past two years because we too are an SME. We know the challenges and limitations, yet we are equally familiar with the opportunities and possibilities. This is why Wilstech was established, to give the local SMEs an upper hand in a competitive and volatile market,” said Wilson Low (top), Chief Executive Officer of Wilstech.

SMEs will be able to receive a 50 percent grant (up to RM5,000) of digitalisation fees under the RM5 million Selangor SME Digitalisation Matching Grant. The grant aims to digitalise SMEs across five core practice areas — eCommerce, HR and payroll systems, cloud accounting, digital marketing, and ePOS and payment gateway functionalities.
