Crypto.com first fintech to receive data protection trust mark

Crypto.com has become the first fintech company to receive the Data Protection Trust Mark (DPTM) awarded by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) for sound data protection practices.

With the certification, Singapore-based customers can be assured that Crypto.com has established responsible data protection practices for its personal data, aligned with the nation’s Personal Data Protection Act. This further strengthens its commitment to data protection and security.

“Comprehensive audits by third parties were performed in accordance with the Singapore government’s IMDA’s strict requirements, reinforcing our commitment to building trust with our customers in the region,” said Jason Lau, Chief Information Security Officer of Crypto.com.

“Our commitment to our growing customer base in Singapore starts with security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. We will continue to invest aggressively in building the industry’s most trusted platform, maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy,” said Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com.
