Snowflake has appointed Sanjay Deshmukh as Senior Regional Vice President for Asean and India.
Sanjay will drive customer success, strengthen partnerships and consistently increase brand equity. His responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans to advance Snowflake’s leadership across the region as well as to enable partner success through building a robust partner ecosystem.
Backed by more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, Sanjay has expertise in business development and technology strategy.
Prior to joining Snowflake, he was Vice President of VMware, where he was responsible for business growth in Southeast Asia and Korea. Before that, Sanjay was Area Vice President of Citrix Systems India. He also served as Vice President for Business User and Platform Group and Country Manager for BusinessObjects at SAP, where he was instrumental in pioneering business intelligence and analytics in the Indian subcontinent.
