Computex returns on site

Computex 2022 will proceed as an onsite edition despite the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Taiwan. The last time the show was held physically in Taipei was in 2019 (photo of tag above).

While foreigners still cannot enter Taiwan, the organisers are putting on a physical show, albeit at a smaller scale compared to past years. The onsite event will be held from May 24 to 27 at just Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall, instead of over multiple venues previously.

An online edition, called Computex DigitalGo, will also be held from May 24 to June 6 to accommodate a global audience.

One of the world’s leading ICT exhibitions, Computex will this year focus on six themes: accelerating intelligence, connected X-experience, digital resilience, innovative computing, innovations and startups, and sustainability.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Computex will also hold CEO Keynotes and Forum that cover the latest trends in the industry.

It is understood that due to travel restrictions, morning keynotes will be delivered by Taiwan-based CEOs while afternoon ones will feature chiefs of tech giants from other countries.
