ShopBack has opened its new Campus headquarters in Singapore.
Serving a regional hub, the new office building features Y-shaped cluster seating arrangements to encourage team unity and foster collaboration, and an assembly area for company town halls and after-work events. A community library houses books donated by ShopBack employees.
“ShopBack has been an exemplar partner — with support from the Government, they have nurtured multiple local talents, who in turn have helped to fuel ShopBack’s growth and expansion. This is a virtuous cycle that will continue to scale up as ShopBack grows and is one of many partnerships that enables our digital ecosystem to flourish,” said Tan Kiat How, Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for National Development and Communications and Information at the official opening of the building.
Housing more than 220 employees in Singapore, Campus occupies a 88,000-square foot site with a refurbished school building in Pasir Panjang. The 28,000-square foot office spans over three floors.
“Over the past eight years, we have observed the evolution of our business, from just an online platform to an omnichannel shopping ecosystem. With the launch of our headquarters here, we seek to further fulfil our mission to enhance the offerings provided by partnering merchants to bring our services to more shoppers in the region,” said Henry Chan, CEO and Co-Founder of ShopBack.
From just six team members in 2014, ShopBack has grown to 900 employees globally with S$3.5 billion in annual sales for 10,000 online and in-store merchants across 10 markets.
