Epson has introduced the Workforce Enterprise AM Series of business inkjet printers as an affordable alternative to colour laser printers.
Comprising the AM-C4000, C5000, and C6000 A3, the colour multi-function printers print up to 60 pages per minute, scans two-sided A4 at 120ipm, and comes with a capacitive 10.1-inch touch panel for easier control.
Built-in optical character recognition capabilities lets users search fro words and characters within the scanned document. For teachers and students, the erase red colour function can detect red markings and restore documents to black and white.
Epson’s heat free technology reduces power consumption from the ink ejection process, saving energy.
The printers offer three new finishers — staple finisher, saddle unit with no external bridge unit, and inner finisher.
“Epson’s sustainable inkjet technology has long been at the forefront of our printing and innovation solutions. Consuming less energy and consisting of fewer consumable parts, inkjet printers provide a relatively more sustainable answer to printing solutions as compared to laser printers,” said Derek Tan, Head of Sales and Marketing at Epson Singapore.
