AMD has appointed Vinay Awasthi as Senior Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
Based in Singapore, Awasthi will lead sales strategy and execution across one of AMD’s fastest‑growing markets. His mandate includes expanding OEM and channel partnerships, sharpening go‑to‑market alignment, and supporting growth across cloud, enterprise, AI, commercial and consumer segments.
Awasthi brings more than two decades of global sales leadership experience. Before joining AMD, he served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Compute Sales at Qualcomm. He previously spent 21 years at HP in senior regional and global roles, eatablishing a track record of driving sustained growth and cultivating strong customer and partner relationships across complex international markets.
