Host provider HostVN and European web traffic security firm Blackwall have teamed up to bring Blackwall’s website protection tools to Vietnamese customers.
Powered by Blackwall, HostVN Website Protection helps enterprises block malicious traffic, reduce bot-driven abuse and strengthen website security.
“Today, the threat is not just downtime. It is invisible traffic that costs money, corrupts data, and goes undetected,” said Duong Thanh Binh, Chairman of HostVN.
“More than half the traffic hitting a website today is not a real customer. Bots and automated requests consume bandwidth, distort analytics, and drain advertising spend — silently, every day,” said Madan Rai, VP Sales Asia of Blackwall, who added that Vietnam was chosen as the launchpad because its digital economy is scaling rapidly, and it requires infrastructure that matches that ambition.
Blackwall’s technology has been deployed across more than 2.3 million websites and applications through partnerships with service providers. The Vietnam launch is part of its expansion plan in Southeast Asia.
For HostVN, the deal adds a new security layer to its cloud and hosting offerings. For Blackwall, it provides a local route into a market where demand for digital security and hosting services continues to grow.
