NTT DATA is partnering Cursor to speed up enterprise modernisation and strengthen AI governance across its global engineering and delivery operations.
Under the agreement, NTT Data will deploy Cursor’s AI coding platform and agents inside its engineering workflow to help design, build, refactor, and modernise systems faster. It is part of its broader shift toward becoming an AI-native services provider.
The partnership is aimed at legacy modernisation, cloud migration and AI transformation efforts, with a focus on consistency across delivery environments.
Cursor’s enterprise features include organisation-wide privacy mode, single sign-on, centralised administration, granular agent controls and audit-ready policy enforcement, which are essential for enterprises that want faster delivery without losing oversight.
“By applying these capabilities inside our own business first, we can help organisations adopt AI with greater confidence, governance and measurable impact,” said Abhijit Dubey (top), CEO and Chief AI Officer of NTT Data.
NTT Data is initially rolling out Cursor Enterprise to priority engineering teams and plans to expand use as adoption grows globally. It intends to create a Cursor Center of Excellence to scale the capabilities across practices and industries.
“By pairing Cursor agents with enterprise-grade governance and structured enablement, NTT Data is proving how AI changes the way software gets built and delivered at global scale, and we are proud to support their teams as they bring it to enterprises worldwide,” said Jordan Topoleski, Chief Operating Officer of Cursor.
