Nokia has extended its 5G partnership with Taiwan Mobile to advance AI-powered networks across Taiwan.
The deal is focused on boosting performance, automation, resilience, and sustainability.
Nokia will deploy its AirScale portfolio, including next-generation baseband and radio solutions, alongside AI-driven software tools for predictive analytics, self-organising network automation, energy optimisation, and self-healing traffic steering.
“We are extending our long-standing partnership with Taiwan Mobile, helping accelerate its journey toward AI-native networks,” said Mark Atkinson (top), Head of RAN at Nokia. “Our advanced radio and baseband solutions and AI-driven software deliver intelligent automation, enhanced performance and improved energy efficiency.”
According to Jamie Lin, President of Taiwan Mobile, the collaboration is “a key pillar in our strategy to build a high-performance, resilient and sustainable network” and that integrating AI across the network will help support next-generation applications and future growth.
