Progress Software has agreed to acquire all of Domo’s assets and assume certain liabilities for US$400 million.
The deal is expected to broaden Progress’ AI and data platform offerings and close within its fiscal year ending November 30, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
“Domo’s product capabilities, coupled with their team’s expertise in cloud architectures and analytics, are highly complementary to our expanding Progress data platform capabilities that significantly improve the security, governance and cost of our customers’ AI initiatives,” said Yogesh Gupta (top), CEO of Progress Software.
“The addition of our product capabilities to the Progress data platform will give customers a stronger foundation for building AI that understands their business, works from governed data and can be trusted to support meaningful decisions,” said Josh James, Founder and CEO of Domo.
Progress has long used acquisitions to expand and reshape its portfolio. Recent deals include Nuclia in 2025, ShareFile in 2024, MarkLogic in 2023, Kemp Technologies in 2021, Chef in 2020, and Ipswitch in 2019.
