LG Electronics is betting that the future of digital signage looks a lot like paper. It has launched the ultra-low-power LG E-paper Display in Singapore and South Korea for retail, hospitality and corporate spaces.
The 32-inch signage product features a battery-powered screen that only sips power when updating content. It is designed to replace printed posters and simplify digital signage management.
Using electronic ink technology, it comes in a slim 17.8mm body, and measures 8.6mm at its thinnest point. The unit includes a 72Wh battery, webOS-based remote management, and support for LG SuperSign CMS for distributing content across multiple displays.
The product is a more energy-efficient alternative to traditional digital signage, with a paper-like look and wide 180-degree viewing angles.
Catch the LG E-paper Display at LG Singapore’s Business Innovation Centre for Commercial Display in Singapore. Those interested can purchase through LG Singapore’s official brand store and authorised B2B partners.
