Salesforce and Anthropic are partnering on combining Claude’s reasoning capabilities with Salesforce’s enterprise data, workflows, business logic, actions, and governance.
Dubbed Claudeforce, the partnership launches with Salesforce in Claude, a plugin featuring 37 prebuilt sales skills. These capabilities let sellers and agents work with live revenue context, automate pipeline updates and take governed actions directly within Claude.
The companies plan to introduce additional integrations across Claude, Salesforce and Slack.
Salesforce in Claude is powered by AIforce, Salesforce’s enterprise framework for connecting business data and workflows to agents through Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, application programming interfaces and command-line interface tools.
The integration marks a shift from traditional enterprise software, where users manually navigate static interfaces, toward software that can make data, workflows and rules available directly to AI agents.
“Probabilistic intelligence alone doesn’t run a company, and deterministic systems don’t reason. By fusing Claude’s extraordinary reasoning with the trusted data, workflows, and governance every enterprise runs on, we’re delivering a dynamic interface that thinks, reasons and acts. This is how every business will run,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce.
“Through this partnership, companies can point Claude at the customer information and business context that they’ve been building in Salesforce for decades, and use it to actually run and grow their businesses,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-founder of Anthropic.
Claude across Salesforce
The Salesforce in Claude plugin is designed to support the full sales cycle and provide capabilities such as meeting preparation, deal health reviews and pipeline reviews.
Built specifically around Claude’s reasoning, agentic tool use and generative user-interface capabilities, the skills go beyond generic CRM prompts connected through an API.
During onboarding, the plugin can read a seller’s enterprise context from Salesforce, Slack and other connectors in Claude. It then creates a tailored dashboard featuring accounts, pipeline information and live data in interactive views.
Actions are routed through Salesforce so that business rules remain enforced. An administrator connects Salesforce in Claude once, while authentication and permissions are managed centrally. Sellers can then receive access without individual setup or a separate permissions model.
Claude is also available inside Salesforce. It serves as a reasoning model for the Atlas Reasoning Engine and powers Agentforce Vibes and Agentforce Coworker by default. It is also available through Agent Builder.
Through Amazon Bedrock, Claude is available within the Salesforce Trust Boundary, allowing customers, including those in regulated industries, to deploy domain-specific AI while keeping data and AI workloads secure.
Claude becomes Slack’s default model
Claude will serve as the default model for Slack and will support Slackbot, Claude Tag and Slack Code. Teams will be able to use Claude to reason through complex decisions in Slack and execute governed actions in Salesforce without leaving their existing workflows.
Salesforce and Anthropic are also adopting each other’s products. Salesforce is Anthropic’s preferred CRM, while Slack is Anthropic’s preferred multiplayer work platform for internal teams.
Salesforce in Claude is currently available to selected pilot customers. The plugin is expected to enter open beta in September 2026. Additional pre-built skills are scheduled to launch in Q3.
