Nutanix has acquired Ryax Technologies to help enterprises deploy and manage agentic AI workloads across hybrid cloud environments.
The acquisition will bring Ryax’s compute orchestration and management technology into future releases of the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform and Nutanix Enterprise AI.
Ryax’s platform is designed to improve the use of GPUs and CPUs, while automatically placing AI workloads on suitable hardware. This helps enterprises improve performance, reduce waste and control costs as demand for AI inference grows.
Many enterprises now spread their computing resources across private data centres, public cloud providers and specialised cloud companies because of GPU shortages and fragmented infrastructure. Ryax’s technology helps simplify the management of these environments.
The platform is also reduces the infrastructure work needed to move AI projects from experimentation into production.

The Ryax team will join Nutanix in France and continue developing the technology. Planned integrations are under development and would be made available only when ready.
