Following its global debut earlier this month, Huawei has officially launched the Huawei Watch GT 7 Series in Singapore. This series features bold design, outdoor-focused features, and advanced health tracking, all designed and built for sportsmen.
With a refined look for daily wear, the Huawei Watch GT 7 comes in both 41mm and 46mm sizes and six colours, including yellow, blue and pink – colours that, I’ve got to say, are not as common for sports watches. The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is offered only in 46mm, with a nano-tech ceramic bezel, a titanium alloy middle frame and a fluoroelastomer (a high-performance synthetic rubber) strap.
For cyclists, the watch introduces Climb Planning, Climb Broadcast and Sharp Turn Alerts to help manage stamina and stay aware of upcoming terrain – though much remains to be tested in Singapore’s urban environment. For skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, there are new indoor snow sports modes and outdoor alpine tracking, including downloadable maps for over 3,000 ski resorts worldwide. And with the holiday season coming up, it may be time to start looking out for a watch to support your sport.
On the health tracking side, the upgraded Health Insights feature adds a daily morning brief built around a new physical readiness score. The score draws on sleep quality, heart rate variability and emotional wellbeing data. The battery life has also been extended with the 46mm models rated for up to 21 days of use on a single charge.
The series hits retail from October 1, 2026 at Best Denki, Challenger, COURTS, Gain City and SprintCass, with prices starting from S$348. Pre-orders, however, open on September 24, 2026 at Huawei Experience Stores, and from 8pm via the Huawei Official Store on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop, with up to S$160 worth of freebies and a S$30 Early Bird Voucher for online orders.
