Lenovo has unveiled infrastructure products and services that help enterprises modernise virtualised environments while preparing for AI workloads.
The portfolio includes the ThinkAgile VX850 V4, Lenovo Premier Deploy for Infrastructure services, and expanded Lenovo Express Solutions. These give customers more options, resilience and control across virtualisation and hybrid cloud platforms.
“Organisations are focused on modernising virtualized infrastructure to improve efficiency and resilience while maintaining flexibility in an increasingly complex IT landscape,” said Scott Patti, Vice President of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group. “Lenovo is helping customers modernise the infrastructure they rely on today with greater choice and control, while building an AI-ready foundation that can evolve as their requirements change.”
The ThinkAgile VX850 V4 targets highly virtualised enterprise environments and demanding in-memory workloads. It supports both structured and unstructured data to help enterprises consolidate critical applications while creating additional capacity for emerging AI-enabled workloads.
Lenovo has also introduced three deployment options — Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus — to support projects with different levels of complexity and internal IT capability.
All three services include readiness support and expert hardware installation. Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus add implementation and operational handoff assistance, while Premier Deploy Plus also provides extended post-deployment support and a one-year infrastructure health assessment, excluding DE Storage Array systems.
Lenovo’s expanded Express Solutions portfolio includes validated configurations for Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Microsoft Azure Local with ThinkAgile MX V4, Nutanix Compute Cluster, and SUSE Virtualization on Lenovo ThinkSystem V4 infrastructure.
The pre-validated configurations reduce integration work for IT teams and provide a more predictable route from evaluation to deployment.
Incorporating the Lenovo ThinkSystem Storage and ThinkAgile hyperconverged infrastructure, the portofolio has capabilities supporting disaggregated infrastructure, integrated data protection and scalable AI workloads. Cyber-resilience features strengthen ransomware recovery and operational continuity.
