Indosat and F5 build governed AI platform for businesses

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and F5 have partnered on the Indosat Intelligence Suite platform for businesses to deploy and manage AI across multiple models and infrastructure environments.

The platform will provide a governed interface for accessing AI models, routing workloads and managing consumption without requiring businesses to build and operate complex underlying infrastructure.

“As AI moves from experimentation into everyday business, companies need more than access to models, they need a trusted way to put intelligence into production,” said Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. “With the full stack AI as the foundation, Indosat Intelligence Suite will become an intelligence factory for businesses, helping businesses access the right intelligence for their needs and scale it securely across the region.”

Through a single interface, the suite brings together more than 300 open and closed AI models, including Sahabat-AI, models hosted by Indosat and connected global models.

An intelligent routing layer is designed to match workloads with models based on factors such as cost, quality and latency. Enterprises can also access local-language models, dedicated models and advanced reasoning capabilities through the same catalogue.

The platform converts token usage into credits that can be allocated across models, applications and teams to give enterprises a consolidated view of AI consumption and spending.

F5 will provide infrastructure security and optimisation through BIG-IP Next for Kubernetes, which supports tenant isolation and container security. Its dynamic, GPU-aware load balancing is designed to improve latency, including time to first token, as well as overall token throughput.

“Businesses can access, route, measure and manage AI consumption across multiple models without having to build and manage every underlying layer themselves,” said François Locoh-Donou, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of F5.

The suite supports Pay as You Go, Unified Enterprise Credit and Dedicated Capacity options for developers, growing businesses, enterprises, government bodies, and regulated organisations.

Indosat is targeting 50 businesses and organisations at launch, with promotional early-access pricing available throughout the year.

Sahabat-AI and Indosat-hosted tiers can process workloads in-market for organisations with data-residency requirements. Policies can determine which workloads may be routed to global models, while authentication, metering and logging provide an auditable record of AI usage.

The platform also incorporates capabilities from the F5 AI Security platform to help protect against the OWASP Top 10 risks for large language models, data leakage and other emerging AI-specific threats.
