Aramco Digital and OrbitronAI have teamed up to jointly develop and commercialise AI products for capital projects, contracts, supply chains and industrial operations.
Under a strategic commercial partnership, the companies will help asset-intensive businesses identify and recover what they describe as billions of dollars in lost value when fragmented information, slow decisions and complex workflows hold back projects and operations.
For OrbitronAI Co-founder and CEO Saulius Adomaitis, the approach centres on finding a high-value process by embedding AI into its workflow and turning successful applications into products other companies can use.
“Together with Aramco Digital, we are building a repeatable model for Industrial Value Recovery: take a high-value industrial process, embed industrial-grade agents into the workflow, recover the value and turn what works into a product that can scale across the industry,” he said.
Capital-intensive businesses face several potential sources of financial leakage. Delayed reviews, reconciliation and decisions can affect project schedules, costs and returns on invested capital. Limited visibility across suppliers, materials and logistics can increase costs, tie up working capital and disrupt operations.
Aramco Digital will contribute its industrial knowledge, scale and market reach, while OrbitronAI will provide industrial AI technology and experience applying it to complex business processes.
“Capital projects, supply chain and other asset-intensive processes represent major opportunities to improve execution and create economic value. Through our partnership with OrbitronAI, we intend to convert that industrial advantage into scalable AI products for Aramco, our affiliates and the wider industrial market,” said Ashraf Tahini, CEO of Aramco Digital
Solutions will be developed around industrial use cases, tested and deployed with customers, then turned into repeatable products for similar processes and industries. Target sectors include oil and gas, power and utilities, metals and mining, transport and logistics, and manufacturing.
Saudi Arabia will be the initial target market, with a longer-term plan to commercialise products globally. Successful capabilities will be designed for reuse across comparable industrial processes that give the partners a route from individual customer deployments to a broader product portfolio.
