The first NVIDIA AI Conference in Sydney on September 4 will kick off with two keynote addresses. Marc Hamilton, Vice President of Solutions Architecture and Engineering, NVIDIA, will talk about Transforming Industries With AI. Jason Humphrey (right), Head of Retail Risk, ANZ Bank, will then share on Creating the Infrastructure to Undertake Deep Learning.
The conference features three tracks — intelligent video analytics/robotics, AI for enterprise, and large-scale AI and research — and speakers from around the world, including Chris Morris (left), Vice President of IDC’s Asia/Pacific excluding Japan (APeJ) Cloud Services and Technology group and APeJ Partner and Alliances programme; Stephen Meltz, Managing Director, Briefcam; Dr Ankur Punwar, Principal Scientist, Beauty Care R&D, Procter & Gamble; and Nicholas Therkelsen-Terry, CEO & Co-Founder, Max Kelsen.
The conference will be preceded by a one-day NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute training for researchers and developers. Accompanying the event will be an exhibition featuring NVIDIA partners and tech demos by NVIDIA.
These include virtual reality demos by Nerfertari’s Tomb by Reality Virtual, Digital Twin by Medical AI, and NVIDIA Holodeck for collaborative automotive design review; as well as NVIDIA technology demos KONG (Kubernetes on NVIDIA GPUs), recording, HPC App Container, image inpainting, Smart Garage, denoising, and intelligent instrument.
“See how we make it easy for researchers to deploy neural networks and assign GPU resources with Kubernetes, using our software solutions to make training networks a simple process. We will even be showing the latest cutting-edge AI-enhanced real time raytracing technology, which makes the creation of realistic computer graphics quicker and easier than ever before,” said John Gillooly (right), Technical Product Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific South of NVIDIA.
