Cloud Expo Asia, Hong Kong is the latest tech event in the region to move online — another casualty of the coronavirus. The dates remain the same — September 23 and 24 — and its contents will be remain online for three weeks after the event.
As it is no longer a physical event, the conference is now available online to all tech professionals across the Asia-Pacific region.
“The safety of our community is a top priority for us. Due to a recent rise of COVID-19 cases within the city, we believe moving the events online is the most responsible course of action at this point of time,” said Ms Candice Wong, Event Director of CloserStill Media, organiser of Cloud Expo Asia, Hong Kong.
“Going virtual has opened up all new possibilities that just wouldn’t have been possible in traditional trade exhibition. It also allows us a more robust and dynamic conference programme,” she added.

Participants will be able to connect with more than 50 global tech service suppliers, and learn from over 160 top-notch industry leaders across 10 conference tracks covering areas such as big data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data centres, DevOps, e-commerce, and fintech.
With the live Q&A session and networking features available on the virtual platform, attendees will get the unique opportunity to interact with speakers in real-time.
