LG Electronics will reveal at CES 2024 its smart home AI agent that makes home life easier and more enjoyable.
Imagine a robot that not only moves around the home but also understands and responds to users. Endowed with the ability to sense things in different ways, this AI-powered device is designed to learn, move, understand, and have complex conversations with users.
It is like a super-smart manager and buddy rolled into one. It can navigate the home on its two-legged wheels and talk to users. Plus, it can even show emotions by moving its legs! By using a mix of voice and image recognition along with understanding language, it knows what users mean and can chat just like a person would.
More than just a cool gadget, it’s like the heart of a smart home — connecting to and controlling smart gadgets and appliances. Through LG’s partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, it’s got powerful features like recognising faces and users. It’s also a mini-environmental expert, sensing things such as temperature and humidity in the home.
This AI agent makes life simpler. For example, when the user is not home, it can wander around, checking if everything’s okay and even turning off stuff the user forgot to switch off. And when the user return, it welcomes the user, senses their mood, and plays music or helps with their daily tasks.
