NVIDIA unveils GeForce RTX 40 Super series

NVIDIA is once again transforming the gaming landscape with the launch of the GeForce RTX 40 Super Series. Comprising the GeForce RTX 4080 Super, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, and GeForce RTX 4070 Super, the line-up promises to redefine gaming experiences and serve as the backbone of AI-driven PCs.

Based on the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture, these GPUs are designed to push the boundaries of gaming performance. With up to 52 shader TFLOPS, 121 RT TFLOPS and 836 AI TOPS, the new GPUs aim to supercharge gaming, content creation and the development of new entertainment realms.

The flagship GeForce RTX 4080 Super delivers unparalleled performance for 4K gaming, especially with DLSS Frame Generation, making it twice as fast as the RTX 3080 Ti. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4070 Super cater to varying needs, offering precision gaming and remarkable performance improvements compared to their predecessors.

“GeForce RTX Super cards support over 500 RTX games and applications and will have users prepared for the wave of generative AI apps coming to PC,” said Matt Wuebbling, Vice President of Global GeForce Marketing at NVIDIA.

The AI-powered leap in PC computing is just one of the hallmarks of the Super Series. Specialised AI Tensor Cores and the software stack accelerate AI processes, with NVIDIA TensorRT software boosting deep learning inference and performance.

These GPUs are more than just about gaming. They extend their prowess to AI-driven applications such as Adobe Photoshop, enabling faster productivity, and utilities like NVIDIA Broadcast, which enhance user experiences by removing background noise and providing seamless virtual backgrounds.

Priced at US$599, US$799 and US$999 respectively, they are available from January 17 for the GeForce RTX 4070 Super, January 24 for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, and January 31 for the GeForce RTX 4080 Super.
