Cisco and NVIDIA have teamed up to provide enterprises with easily deployable and manageable AI infrastructure.
The collaboration leverages Cisco’s expertise in Ethernet networking and its extensive partner ecosystem, and NVIDIA’s GPU technology that is fuelling the AI boom. It aims to deliver to enterprises a highly secure Ethernet-based infrastructure to navigate the transitions brought about by AI.
“AI is fundamentally changing how we work and live, and history has shown that a shift of this magnitude is going to require enterprises to rethink and re-architect their infrastructures. Strengthening our great partnership with NVIDIA is going to arm enterprises with the technology and the expertise they need to build, deploy, manage, and secure AI solutions at scale,” said Chuck Robbins, Chair and CEO, Cisco.
According to NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang, companies everywhere are racing to transform their businesses with generative AI.
“Working closely with Cisco, we’re making it easier than ever for enterprises to obtain the infrastructure they need to benefit from AI, the most powerful technology force of our lifetime,” he said.
Over the past few years, Cisco and NVIDIA have worked on integrated product solutions, including Webex collaboration devices and data centre compute environments. Now, the partnership is expanding to deepen its presence in the data centre, offering scalable and automated AI cluster management, troubleshooting, and best-in-class customer experiences.
