Progress has formed a strategic partnership with Veeam Software to deliver an enterprise-ready cyber defense solution that enhances the security of critical business data.
The collaboration leverages the strengths of the Progress Flowmon Anomaly Detection System (ADS) that provides intelligent network detection and response capabilities, and the Veeam Data Platform that offers robust security features. By combining these technologies, enterprises gain enhanced visibility into potential attacks at the network layer. Early detection triggers the Incident API in Veeam Backup & Replication, allowing organisations to respond promptly.
“We share the desire to provide customers with in-depth cyber protection and support, and the combination of our respective threat detection and data protection technologies provides a powerful offering to help enterprise organizations strengthen their security posture,” said Sundar Subramanian, EVP & GM of Infrastructure Management at Progress.
“This integration brings automated cyber protection capabilities to our shared customers, enabling them to respond instantly to cyber threats and ensure the safeguarding of their most actual business-critical data from further harm,” said Andreas Neufert, Vice President of Product Management, Alliances at Veeam.
Powered by an intelligent detection engine, Flowmon ADS analyses network traffic to uncover concealed anomalies. It detects malicious behaviours, attacks on critical applications, data breaches, and other indicators of compromise. The newly-released Flowmon ADS 12.2 incorporates artificial intelligence for a holistic view of security events. Cybersecurity professionals can prioritise incidents, make informed decisions and respond proactively.
