Seagate Technology has appointed Futoshi Niizuma as Vice President for Asia-Pacific and Japan sales where he will oversee sales and technical support activities across the region.
Since joining Seagate in October 2009, Niizuma has held various senior roles across Japan, South Asia, Asean, Australia, and New Zealand. His most recent was leading the Japan sales team.
Prior to joining Seagate, he held senior sales, marketing and management positions in the likes of Kenwood Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices.
“Niizuma’s exceptional experience in working with business partners as well as his leadership will empower and support the customers we serve in this region,” said BanSeng Teh, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Seagate.
