NCS rolls out AI and digital resilience solutions for APAC enterprises

NCS has unveiled a comprehensive suite of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital resilience (DR) solutions aimed at helping enterprises in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region reinvent themselves in the AI era.

At the core of NCS’s new offerings is the AI-Digital Resilience (AI+DR) Matrix strategic framework designed to help enterprises assess their AI and digital resilience readiness. This innovative tool categorises enterprises into four quadrants based on their maturity levels in AI adoption and digital resilience, providing a roadmap for development.

“Across the world, AI is top of mind now, but organisations must not overlook the importance of digital resilience as they embrace AI’s transformational potential. To build a safer and more sustainable future, it is crucial that organisations invest to build a foundation in cybersecurity, data governance and technology that will allow AI to flourish. We believe organisations that master both AI and digital resilience will be the ones that will thrive in this increasingly complex global environment,” said Ng Kuo Pin, CEO of NCS, at the company’s annual Impact forum.

To complement this framework, NCS introduced Polaris DR, a solution that evaluates an enterprise’s digital resilience across five key areas — cybersecurity, data governance, infrastructure scalability, application robustness, and operational responsiveness. This assessment helps to identify vulnerabilities and create customised improvement plans.

NCS also announced five industry business solutions embedded with AI Accelerators, aimed at enhancing customer experience, workforce productivity, and software engineering. Standardised and customisable, these solutions enabling enterprises to accelerate AI deployments in customer/citizen experience, workforce productivity, and software engineering while ensuring consistency and scalability.

Strategic partnerships

NCS has formed strategic partnerships with industry leaders to further facilitate AI adoption and digital resilience. It is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch a Generative AI Centre of Excellence for Public Good, customised for the APAC public sector.

Additionally, it is partnering with Dell Technologies to accelerate the adoption of generative AI (GenAI) solutions by enterprises in the region. The company has also signed an MOU with Schneider Electric to provide end-to-end sustainability offerings and AI-enabled solutions to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient computing in the GenAI era.

In the insurance sector, NCS is collaborating with Income Insurance to extend location-based, hourly travel insurance through the Breeze mobile app. This partnership aims to enhance insurance services using data and AI.

Recognising the importance of talent development, NCS is investing heavily in building its AI workforce. It plans to create a 3,000-strong AI-certified practitioner base, with more than 300 serving as AI experts. It is working with the Infocomm Media Development Authority to achieve these goals through various initiatives and training programmes.
