Veeam Software has appointed Niraj Tolia as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), following the acquisition of Alcion, a security-first, AI-driven data management startup.
Tolia was a Co-founder of Alcion, alongside Vaibhav Kamra. Together, they and the Alcion team are now part of Veeam.
As CTO, he will spearhead the product strategy and engineering efforts for Veeam Data Cloud, and work closely with Chief Product Officer Anton Gostev.
