With the holiday season approaching, Kodak Moments has launched an enhanced version of its photo services software that provides retailers with a user-friendly platform to offer an expanded range of premium products.
This upgrade introduces advanced cross-selling capabilities that can greatly enhance the customer experience while unlocking substantial revenue potential for retailers.
The new Kodak Moments Retail Software version 24.2 lets retailers configure up to 39 premium photo products for cross-selling. It enables retailers to suggest complementary items to customers during their shopping journey, such as when they upload photos for printing.
According to Scott Robinson, VP of Retail Photo Solutions Products at Kodak Moments, retailers using the latest software releases are reporting significant revenue growth in the photo category.
“It’s a significant revenue generator because retailers simply choose the products to cross-sell, and the software takes care of the rest. It automatically suggests complementary products to consumers at just the right points during their shopping journey,” he said.
Among the new offerings are personalised drinkware options, including a stainless-steel tumbler and an innovative heat-activated photo mug that reveals images when filled with hot liquids. These products not only cater to consumer trends but also create excellent cross-selling opportunities when paired with other items such as customised coasters.
The software’s integration with existing hardware such as Kodak Moments Kiosks and Self-Service Print Stations ensures that consumers can design and purchase these products quickly and conveniently.
It also streamlines order fulfillment processes, allowing retailers to provide same-day service for many items. This efficiency is crucial during the busy holiday season when consumers are looking for quick and personalised gift options.
