Alibaba Cloud shifts to AI-focused partner strategy to acceleration innovations

Alibaba Cloud has unveiled its “Alibaba Cloud Partner Rainforest Plan” aimed at fostering innovation and driving growth in the AI and cloud computing sectors.

Unveiled at the Alibaba Cloud Partner Summit 2024, the revamped strategy includes three main components.

1. The AI Alliance Accelerator Program aims to build a dedicated AI partner ecosystem by collaborating with 50 AI technology partners and 50 channel partners by 2025. It offers enhanced technical support, expanded distribution channels, and dedicated AI consulting services to selected partners.
2. The Revitalised Service Partner Program focuses on cultivating new service partners and empowering existing ones. It includes upskilling channel and technology partners with targeted training, enabling them to offer comprehensive services to customers.
3. The Synergistic Incentive Program is designed to strengthen collaboration between global technology partners and channel partners. It introduces an expanded go-to-market pathway, allowing technology partners to boost revenue through Alibaba Cloud’s channel network while providing channel partners access to a broader product portfolio.

Alibaba Cloud has also announced enhanced collaborations with global and regional partners to provide cutting-edge cloud computing and AI solutions.

In Indonesia, a strategic partnership with Telkom Indonesia aims to provide AI-supported cloud solutions and develop digital talents.

In Japan, a partnership with Securai will localise Alibaba Cloud’s Zstack service for the Japanese market.

In Thailand, a memorandum of understanding with Yell Group will address the growing demand for generative AI in the creative media industry.
